National Hat Day
Jan 15 all-day

All Oak Hill staff and residents are encouraged to wear a hat of any kind on Tuesday, January 15 which is National Hat Day. Who doesn’t feel more stylish when wearing a hat?

We encourage a variety of hats: baseball caps, cowboy hats, bonnets, fancy Sunday “goin’ to church” hats, fedoras, bowlers, golf hats, straw hats and stocking hats.  All staff wearing a hat may wear jeans on January 15.

This year’s Activity Professionals Week theme is People, Purpose, Passion

The definition of people is human beings making up a group or assembly or linked by a common interest and activity professionals bring us all closer together.

The definition of purpose is the reason for which anything is done, created, or exists. The activity profession is constantly changing but the one thing that never changes is our love and dedication for our fellow activity professionals.

The definition of passion is any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling, as love. …a person toward whom one feels strong love, a strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for anything and Oak Hill is honored to share the love for you and the residents in our community.
