Families are encouraged to have their pictures taken at our photo op. Complimentary pictures will be given to the residents.
Shuttle parking is available next door at Southern Illinois Center for Health.
In case of rain, dinner will be cancelled.

Judged by the residents, staff dress to impress for a chance to win a prize. Residents anticipate what kind of unique costumes this year will hold.
Batman will be returning with his Batmobile. This year he’s bringing a friend with him. Get your picture taken with the Batmobile at the Magnolia Terrace entrance.
Staff will meet in the activity center at 3:00 pm and parade to Magnolia Terrace for judging and then throughout the building for all residents to see.

The Alzheimer’s Association “In the Moment” Monthly Support Group meets in the Oak Hill classroom. The first part of the meeting is educational and there will also be time for sharing. Anyone who cares for someone with memory loss or is a family member or friend is welcome to attend this group. Literature from the Alzheimer’s Association will be available and refreshments will be served. For more information, please contact Julia at 939-3488 ext. 1248.

WANTED: CRAFT SELLERS If you are interested in renting an 8 foot space to sell craft items, please contact Julia at 939-3488 ext. 1248. Rental space is $20; first-come, first serve. Space will be reserved upon receipt of check. (Craft tables will not be charged commission on the sale of their items.)
Donations needed for Fall Bazaar The flea market at the Fall Bazaar will be accepting donations until 10/31/13. Good items to donate are home décor items, toys, kitchen items, exercise equipment, linens, furniture, etc. Due to limited space, we won’t be selling clothes, shoes, TV’s or old computers. If you would like to donate, please contact Julia to arrange a time to drop off items at the trailer behind Magnolia Terrace.
From the funds raised last year, Whispering Pines was able to purchase a new television for both living rooms, décor for the Pines, slippy socks, bird feeders and activity supplies. Thank you for your support!
