Oak Hill’s Fair Week is held annually for the residents, the residents’ families, and Oak Hill staff.
Activities for the week:
Monday – Wear a hat day – Free ice cream from 2-3 P.M.
Tuesday – Dress Western day – Fine Arts Judging in Activity Center. Flyer
Wednesday – Wear a Johne Deere or green shirt day – Tractor Races/prizes and free popcorn and lemonade in the Activity Center from 2-3:30 P.M.
Thursday – Wear a bandana day – Carnival Day: Fair games/prizes and free freshly made funnel cakes in the Oak Hill Activity Center from 2-3:30 P.M.
Friday – Wear your Team Care shirt – Free fair-themed lunch for staff and residents.
Menu:
Corn Dog or Pork Cutlet
French Fries & Onion Rings
Baked Beans & Coleslaw
Lemonade
Visitors may purchase a ticket for $3.00 at the receptionist desk.
The Alzheimer’s Association “In the Moment” Monthly Support Group meets in the Oak Hill classroom. The first part of the meeting is educational. The second part of the meeting is for sharing. Materials from the Alzheimer’s Association will be available. Refreshments will be served. For additional information, please call Julia.
Bring your pooch in for a fun filled time with residents, staff, family and friends. Anyone can participate.
The following categories will be judged:
Best Wag, Best Dressed, Best Trick, Happiest, Cutest, Friendliest, Best Kisser, Most Obedient, Craziest for Toys, Best Smile, Most Vocal and Best Coat.
Registration and meet & greet with the other dogs starts at 2:00 at Magnolia Terrace.
Prizes will be awarded.

Families are encouraged to have their pictures taken at our photo op. Complimentary pictures will be given to the residents.
Shuttle parking is available next door at Southern Illinois Center for Health.
In case of rain, dinner will be cancelled.

Judged by the residents, staff dress to impress for a chance to win a prize. Residents anticipate what kind of unique costumes this year will hold.
Batman will be returning with his Batmobile. This year he’s bringing a friend with him. Get your picture taken with the Batmobile at the Magnolia Terrace entrance.
Staff will meet in the activity center at 3:00 pm and parade to Magnolia Terrace for judging and then throughout the building for all residents to see.
