Stop by for an afternoon of tractors, fun, music and free food!
Sit down under our beautiful shaded pavilion to enjoy a complimentary bbq lunch while listening to music by the Worthing10s Family Bluegrass Band (12:30-1:30 P.M.). We’ll have face painting and a balloon artist and don’t forget about the playground for the kiddos.

An evening for residents and their family members to enjoy outside together with a complimentary meal and music – strolling accordion, Larry Hallar and the Waterloo German Band. Have your family picture taken at our photo op. Complimentary photos will be given to the residents.
Shuttle parking next door at Southern Illinois Center for Health.
In case of rain, dinner will be cancelled.

Whispering Pines is hosting their Annual Fall Bazaar in response to National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month being in November.

This event is open to the public and raises funds to purchase items benefiting residents on Whispering Pines, Oak Hill’s Alzheimer’s division.

A flea market will be held in the activity center at Oak Hill and numerous craft vendors will be set up in the hallways outside of the activity center including:  handmade soaps, lotions, jewelry, Scentsy, Tupperware, essential oils, Thirty One, Jamberry, Party Lite, hand-made crafts, Tastefully Simple, Christmas decor and gifts, and much more.  A bake sale and food items will be held in the lobby area along with raffles and the Oak Hill gift shop will be open for snacks and shopping as well.

65 Year Anniversary Celebration

On February 1, 1951, Monroe County welcomed a skilled care facility, Monroe County Care and Rehab Center. Sixty-five years later, Oak Hill is still providing quality skilled care to its community as well as senior living apartments, an Alzheimer’s & dementia wing and a top notch therapy department.

Join us on February 1st between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. as we celebrate.  Complimentary refreshments will be served while Forrest, “The Singing Sheriff” is providing musical entertainment.

A group picture will be taken at 2:00 p.m. and everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite Oak Hill shirt.  We hope to see you there.

Older American’s Month Kickoff Celebration

February 2016 marked 65 years that Oak Hill has offered skilled care to older American’s in our community, making this year’s Older American’s Month Kickoff Celebration that much more special.  Oak Hill offers a wide variety of care from senior living apartments to Alzheimer’s/dementia and therapy.

We would love to have you join us as we celebrate our older Americans.

Complimentary music and refreshments will be served.

Come see our pinwheels on parade – pinwheels will be lining our pavilion and other outdoor areas.  Those in attendance will be given their own pinwheel to take with them.
